| The evening of Saturday, September 15th was cool and crisp as scores of supporters came out to Cherry's Inn for the Memory of Keith Ward. There was a $5 cover to get in the door, but it included a buffet of food and live music from the band, Cry Wolf. The event started at 9pm and lasted until well after 1am. A 50/50 raffle was held, door prizes were awarded, a raffle was held for a bushel of #1 male crabs (donated by Cherry's) and there was a big 6 wheel spinning. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Keiths charity of choice, the Margaret E. Moul Home. THANK YOU to ALL who came out and supported us in Keith's Memory!! |

| Ravens fans raise funds in late friend's memory September 13, 2007 ~ North County News Members of Ravens Roost 13, in Freeland, are planning a dance to raise money for a late friend's favorite cause. Keith Ward, who died in a June 19 car crash in Railroad, Pa., participated -- with other roost members -- in the annual Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park, near Annapolis, to raise money for Maryland Special Olympics. He appeared on the front page of the North County News on Feb. 1, in a lei and hula skirt with fake buttocks and his hair dyed purple -- in honor of the Baltimore Ravens. Club members are now raising money for the Margaret E. Moul Home, also known as the York County Cerebral Palsy Home, where Ward's brother Wayne Ward lives. |
