Ravens Roost 13
A Word From our Secretary....
Some months ago I was given the task of putting a paragraph together about us, Roost 13.   I researched what other Roosts said about themselves, and found that while what was written applied to their specific organization, we at Roost 13 are a group somewhat separate of the rest of the Council because of our location.
Ravens Roost 13 began their journey as Colts Corral 13 on May 6, 1966.  Since that time, Baltimore Football has thrived during the Colts years, supported teams in the interim and ultimately we are now a Ravens Roost, solely a football club that unites the bond of fellowship, and promotes professional sports related activities and charities in our community.
The membership of Roost 13 is made up of residents in and around the Maryland/Pennsylvania state line. A diverse group of business owners, construction workers, homemakers and others.  But above all we believe in community.  We are located at Cherry’s Inn, in Freeland, Maryland, within viewing distance of the PA line. Many of our members, who from their address, could be Eagles or <Cough/Gag> Steelers fans, but they choose to join us for whatever personal reason they have. In the last several years we have grown into a cohesive group and have become an active civic organization on both sides of the state line.
Our charitable donations have been international, supporting National Guard Units in Iraq, while still supporting the local food bank, homeless students in the area, and families in need throughout the community.
Ravens Roost 13 invites you to join us as we grow and continue to meet the needs of the surrounding community.   Do not be mistaken. The Baltimore Ravens are our passion.  However, we are very aware our commitment does not begin at 1:05 on a Sunday afternoon and end with the final touchdown.   Our final touchdown is at home, our home, in Freeland and the surrounding area.

We would like for you to be there.   Please join us!

Sincerely,
Holly Price,
Secretary, Ravens Roost 13
